We tried this spot out based on the recommendation of the staff at my wifes' doctors office. It was ok. We got here before the lunch rush so I found a metered parking spot in front on the street. The young lady helping us was very nice and helpful. We ordered the Carnitas plates with rice and beans. Chips and salsa, and a Carne Asada Sope. The Carnitas were okay not greasy, they were warm, okay. Rice and beans were on point. Guacamole on point. Chips were okay. A little greasy and missing something for my liking. Kinda stale. Honestly in my opinion it was okay. Not the worst but it didn't wow either one of us. I don't think we'll be back even though the young lady recommended the hard shelled tacos and the bacon breakfast burrito, just throwing that out there for some other brave soul. The red salsa was on another level and the flour tortillas were on point I will say that. The place is huge inside and clean. It's older. It was ok. I don't think we're going to be back.
I literally dream of tacos por favor every single day. For affordable meals and large portions, there is no better place than tacos por favor. We got the breakfast chilaquiles as well last the machaca plate and I could not decide which one is better. If you stumble upon this, please go!
My go to quick take out spot for cheese enchiladas. I would recommend that for quick and good value, not for top quality. The hot carrots were basically inedible, avoid, I had to hold my nose as I threw them away.
Loved this Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious. The mushroom tacos were my favorite. The lengua and asada were also really good, as well as the milanesa torta. The fish taco was okay, wouldn't get again. All the portions are pretty big which makes any dish worth it. For example one soft taco could easily be 2. The service is good and quick, no waiting staff. The atmosphere reminds me of a cafeteria which is not bad. Would definitely come here again and recommend it.
This place is simply amazing! Authentic Mexican cuisine at its best. I tried a few traditional dishes here, and each one exceeded my expectations. Everything was prepared perfectly: the flavors were well-balanced, and the portions were generous. What really impressed me was the texture of the sauce and its unique taste, which combines a subtle spiciness with a hint of sweetness. Every element of the dish was just right, and the fresh, crispy chips were the perfect complement to every bite. The service was top-notch: the staff is very friendly and attentive, making sure every guest receives the best care. Even when I arrived a bit later, they welcomed me without rushing and with full attention. The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable and cozy, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. This place will definitely leave you with only the best impressions. I can't wait to return and look forward to the next opportunity to visit.
I was on vacation from Colorado, and have had a lot of Chile rellenos, and cheese enchiladas. This place blows anything I have had before out of the water. Colorado's Mexican food, has nothing on this place. The cheese in the enchiladas were fully melted, the red sauce was very flavorful but not too spicy even had a tiny hint of sweetness to it which only added to the amazing flavors. The Chile relleno was cooked just right, it wasn't soggy, or too dry also the cheese was fully melted as well. The tortilla chips they gave me were very fresh and crisp, and went great with cleaning up any extra red sauce on my plate. The service was great everyone was friendly and they got the food out very fast. I already know I'm going to be thinking about this place once I go back to Colorado and how much better it is then the food I'll have access to. I wish I could take this place back with me so I could eat it whenever I liked.
